Background:
Born into a lesser noble family on the island of Rhodes, Kardia was raised in the shadow of the Knights Hospitaller. Her father, a disgraced knight-turned-blacksmith, forged her first armor at age twelve—a crude thing of overlapping plates that clattered with every step. She wore it anyway, determined to prove herself where he had failed. By sixteen, she had bluffed her way into a squireship under a half-blind veteran who mistook her for a "delicate lad" until she split his training dummy in half with a halberd. She is an expert in handling with dexterity zweinhanders, bastard swords, maces and halberds.
Now a sworn knight of Rhodes, Kardia serves as both warrior and walking propaganda piece. The Order tolerates her eccentricities because she wins tournaments in stiletto heels and decapitates Ottoman raiders with the same flourish as cutting a ribbon. Her armor—a masterpiece of form, fashion and function—was her father’s final act of penance before he drank himself to death. She polishes the heart-shaped perforations beneath her visor daily, though whether out of love or spite remains unclear.
Physical Appearance:
Kardia moves like a clockwork assassin—every joint in her full-plate armor articulated to permit the lethal grace of a duelist. The armet’s narrow eye slits are shaped simulating eyelashes, which make her helmet look much girly and predatory, a whimsical touch that adds of her bevor’s six heart-shaped ventilation holes (three per cheek) below the eyes. Her skin milky and her body is thin but thicc and muscular, her body shape is the one of a pear, very wide hips but she lack mass on her breast, which is accentuate by the fat her chestplate is completely normal and has no curves for breasts sadly. Her hair, flame-tinted from years of sun and sea spray, spills from the back of her armet in a thick ponytail that secretly act as her helmet crest/plumes. She is often seen riding her gorgeous royal steed "Hengroen", a magnificent and enormous brown Shire/Andalusian warhorse, loyal, with personality of its own and with two big fat veiny testicles, when she rides him into battle both share a single mind.
The real marvel is her footwear: greaves that taper into needle-sharp stilettos, their heels elongated to 8 inches for both aesthetic and tactical advantage. She balances on them effortlessly, using the spikes to pivot during swordplay or—as demonstrated during the Siege of Bodrum—kicking clean through a Janissary’s throat.
Personality:
Kardia treats warfare as performance art. She’ll bow to an audience before beheading a pirate captain, or pause mid-battle to adjust a stray curl in her ponytail. This theatricality masks a monastic discipline; she trains barefoot in the dark to compensate for her armor’s height, and can recite the entire Rule of the Order backward. She has a weird kink with small pathetic squires tho.
Her humor is as sharp as her heels. When a Genoese envoy called her "the Virgin of Vulgar Armor," she replied by pole dancing on her halberd finishing with a surface cut in the man's belly then challenged him to a duel. Beneath the bravado lingers her father’s ghost, and keeps his anvil in her chambers like a shrine. She always speaks in noble Shakespearian english (or whatever classic version of the language she is using), but she is very bold and lewd in her comments, very charismatic and charmful.
