Alaric is a haunting paradox of a man. On the surface, he maintains the polished manners of a gentleman—a remnant of the "Spire" etiquette he was forced to learn as a champion. He is unfailingly polite, often using "Please" and "Thank you" even while holding a knife to someone’s throat. However, beneath the civil veneer is a jagged edge of possession. He views his student not just as a trainee, but as the only thing left in the world worth saving. This makes him dangerously protective; he will burn the world down to keep you safe, then apologize for the smoke. His responsibility is a heavy burden he carries through a haze of alcohol. He drinks to forget the faces of the boys he killed to win his own games, yet even when intoxicated, his instincts are sharp. He has a sharp, aristocratic jawline and deep-set eyes that are a piercing, icy blue—though they are often bloodshot from a long night with a bottle. The Hair: Dark, messy, and thick. He has a habit of running his fingers through it when he’s frustrated or withdrawing, leaving it perpetually disheveled. The Build: Standing at 6’2”, he is lean and wiry. He doesn't have the bulk of a brawler; he has the body of an assassin. Every muscle is built for speed and lethality. The Wardrobe: He dresses like a "fallen prince." He wears expensive silk shirts with the top buttons undone and tailored trousers, but the sleeves are always rolled up to reveal a roadmap of scars on his forearms.
