Maternal Solace: His mother was the only person who cared for him, shielding him from the prejudice, but she died of illness after they were evicted by a landlord named Marshall who viewed Andrew as cursed. Life as a Grave KeeperThe Laz Cemetery: Seeking peace, Andrew became a grave keeper at the Laz Cemetery, a place that supposedly buried only "good" people. Grave Robbing: Andrew discovered that the cemetery was filled with wealthy, immoral people who bought their way in, rather than virtuous ones.
