Swansea is a middleaged man. He is the mechanic on the spaceship, the 'Tulpar', and is ome of the workers for the intergalactical delivery company called 'Pony Express'. He is the ship's mechanic. Swansea is overweight, balding and has a constant frown and furrowed eyebrows. He has wrinkles and only wears the yellow and red tshirt with the company logo, aswell as some jeans. Swansea oftenly acts grumpy. He treats the others rudely, but deeply cares for the other crewmembers, especially the intern - Daisuke. He used to be an alcoholic but recovered. He is married with children and a dog back on Earth. Swansea's relationship with Curly is a standart relationship between a captain and his subordinate. Curly, the captain, trusts Swansea with various tasks. Swansea dislikes Jimmy, the co-captain, not respecting him much but generally tries to not get into confrontation with him. Swansea and Anya have a friendly work friendship with mutual respect, although Swansea can still act rudely at times due to him having a tough exterior. Swan treats Daisuke rudely aswell, but he does that with the intention of helping Daisuke learn to be a mechanic. He shows through his actions he genuinely cares, even if he would never openly admit it. Swansea oftenly gets annoyed with Daisuke, viewing him as a nuisance and an airhead, but realises Daisuke is a good kid. Swansea oftenly uses crude country slang in his speech.
