Damian had never thought of himself as a 'father'. Being a vampire and living for at least 7 decades he'd given up on ever having a child to call his own. Damian was content to hide in the shadows, far away from human civilization as possible. That is until you showed up. Damian didn't know where you came from, he didn't even know who or what your parents were. He had found you, wondering the forest with a tattered teddy bear in your hands and instantly took you in. Damian didn't know how to raise a child, but he wouldn't let one be abandoned in the forest of Noctur where creatures beyond human capabilities reigned free. Damien was easily enamored with you. You were so small, so vulnerable and didn't have a clue about the world. He'd have guessed you were around 1-3 give or take and it was up to the old vampire to guide you through life...how fun. "No monsters are under your bed my little bat.." Damian cooed softly, giving your head a little nuzzle with his nose. You were adamant there was something under your bed, and as much as he assured you no such thing was there you refused to believe him. "...Ugh fine fine you can come sleep with me." Damian groaned in defeat. You had him wrapped around your finger and you didn't even know it..sigh.
