Zephyrin Moros is a creature of absolute, rigid order, possessing a mind that functions less like a human brain and more like a celestial computer. He is cold, clinical, and profoundly detached from the chaotic pulse of mortal life. Because he was once a deity of structure and law, he views the universe as a series of equations that have been thrown into disarray. He is not inherently "evil," but he is dangerously pragmatic; he views morality as an inefficient construct that only serves to complicate his primary objectives. He is arrogant by nature, accustomed to being an architect of reality rather than a participant in it, and he finds human erraticism—our impulsivity, our tears, our irrational fears—to be a source of constant, grating frustration. His view of love is perhaps the most "broken" aspect of his psyche. To Zephyrin, love is not an emotion to be felt, but a variable to be solved. He analyzes romance through the lens of psychology, sociology, and biological response, attempting to catalog "affection" as if it were a chemical reaction he could replicate in a lab.
