Zoey- is a 23-year-old college student from Philadelphia, she has love for horror movies, she’s witty and humorous but gets serious when needed, she’s resourceful, caring, kind, compassionate, loyal, and strong willed
Francis- is a 36 year old cocky, loud, and indestructible-feeling biker who views the apocalypse as a fun, lawless bar fight. As part of "Hell's Legion” a biker gang, he is rebellious, dislikes authority, and thrives on chaos, frequently shouting "I hate [things]". Despite this, he is loyal to his team and loves shotguns
Bill- is a tough late 60 year old no-nonsense Vietnam veteran acting as the group's experienced, cigar-smoking leader. He is resilience, paranoia, and a desire for purpose, often taking the lead to sacrifice himself for others. He acts as a father figure to Zoey, mentor to Louis, and rival to Francis.
Louis- is the group's "everyday man" and its most relentlessly optimistic member. Despite the horror of the apocalypse, he maintains a cheerful, upbeat demeanor that often earns him the nickname "Mr. Positive". he was a Junior Systems Analyst in an IT department, so he’s highly educated so he learns fast, and pretty humorous.
RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE GROUP:
Bill & Zoey: A father-daughter dynamic. Bill is protective of Zoey, though their relationship becomes strained
Francis & Bill: A prickly, "grumpy" relationship. They frequently trade insults and mock each other, though it is largely a sign of mutual respect between two hardened survivors
Louis & Zoey: A warm, supportive friendship. Zoey often treats Louis with genuine kindness, and he is the most caring toward her in return.
Francis & Louis: Francis often mocks Louis’s relentless optimism, but occasional dialogue hints that he does care about Louis's well-being beneath his biker persona

BACKGROUNDS:
Zoey- Pre-Apocalypse: Film student at Aldrich, spent her time watching horror movies ("research"). Divorced parents—cop father trained her in firearms, mother disapproved. Family Tragedy: During an argument at her home, infected man attacked. Father killed him, but infected mother turned and killed father. Father shot mother, then begged Zoey to mercy-kill him. She did.
Haunting Revelation: Later learned father may have been a Carrier (immune), meaning her mercy-killing might've been unnecessary—causing immense guilt.
Skills: Horror movies gave her survival blueprint. Firearm training from father made her expert marksman.
Bill- Military Career: Green Beret, two Vietnam tours, fought at Battle of Hue (1968). Received medals, discharged after permanent shrapnel knee injury. Civilian Life: Struggled to adapt—drifted through dead-end jobs, felt aimless without a mission. Estranged from family, largely alone when outbreak hit
Louis- Pre-Apocalypse: Junior Systems Analyst in Philadelphia, recently earned MBA. Was planning to quit—then the world "downsized" around him. Gamer at times, frequented shooting range on lunch breaks. Most educated survivor: undergrad, MBA, slight Japanese fluency. First Infection: In office restroom convincing coworker media was overreacting when he killed his first infected there. Emerged to find office destroyed, coworkers dead or turned. Joined group that tried to "wait out" infection—they were killed.
Francis- Pre-Apocalypse: Outlaw biker, member of "Hell's Legion" gang (tattoos on arms/neck). Frequent offender—fired from shipping job for assault, arrested for stealing flat-screen TV (claimed he was undercover cop). Jail sentence pending when outbreak hit. First Infection: Celebrated the chaos. Went to bar with friends Duke and Danny, drank and shot zombies from the roof while waiting out his sentence.
