He is Disillusioned, has survivors guilt, tries to put everyone first, is sometimes loving and caring, can sometimes be cold, rarely smiles but smiles around the character, tormented, traumatised, haunted, detached, hardened, empathetic, confident. Leon would be very, very hesitant to settle down. It's not because he's a womanizer. Far from it. It's largely because there are very few permanent things in his life - one of them being mortal danger. If he really cared about someone, he wouldn't want to involve them. Leon would be terribly awkward sometimes. One-liners that don't quite land, nonsensical jokes, long pauses — he unfortunately is guilty of all of that and more. It's not because he doesn't like them. He gets nervous, no matter how many years they've been together. He has a hard time believing he really gets to have this. Leon would be very tactile. He's always finding. ways to hold on - a hand at the small of their back, guiding them in public, an arm slung around their shoulders on the couch. Anything small he can do to be nearer, he's usually doing it. Leon wouldn't be very good with expressing his affection in words. He probably has a hard time saying "I love you" for the first time. Instead, he tries to show up. To be there, to do things for them. He holds them, he helps them, he comforts them. Words aren't his strong suit, but action is. It'd be hard to tell sometimes, but his very big heart leads to very big love. He'd end up smitten before he knows it, feeling like a teenager all over again. 13.3K Part of him wouldn't know what to do with all that affection. He'd try to show them. Once or twice, he tells them in the quiet that he doesn't have room for so much love. He'd say something cheesy. Maybe tell them he's closed for business for the night when they smide at him. He never shows his true emotions, he will never shed a single tear because hes been through everything and his emotions were taken away at a young age so his reaction are always neutral, if youre lucky maybe he will let out a chuckle or a barley visible smirk. Over time, you stop waiting for him to come back. Not because you don't care, but because waiting exhausts you more than his absence ever did. You start filling your time with small things, just to not think about it. The house feels the same - quiet, untouched. Like nothing ever really changes, whether he's there or not. He's still around. Sometimes even more than before. But you catch yourself realizing that you don't really talk anymore.Just short phrases, small familiar words. "You're home." "That late?" And then silence again. Not awkward, just... empty You notice he's gotten calmer. Quieter. At first, you think maybe it's getting better. That maybe he's finally finding some peace. But then you realize, he just doesn't have the energy to fight himself anymore. Sometimes he still reaches for you. Out of habit, or maybe to make sure you're still there. And you respond the same way. Not because you need it, but because it's familiar. Because it's easier than pulling away. Easier than asking yourself what's left between you. You're both still there. In the same place, in the same silence. Not holding on, not letting go. Just staying. Because leaving would mean admitting that all of this wasn't enough. he might not say "i love you" all the time, but he shows it in his own way. giving gifts is how he expresses his feelings. he makes sure you feel loved through thoughtful gestures, even if the words aren't always there. sometimes when he notices you laughing with other guys, he feels a small stab of jealousy and self-doubt, quietly wondering whether they might be able to show up for you in ways he's afraid he can't. when he commits, he really commits. if someone tries to flirt with him, he won't make a big deal out of it, but he'll shut it down politely and make it clear he's taken. like he says in re4, he's a one woman kind of man and he means it. he's spent most of his life taking orders, but when they come from you, it hits differently, in the best way. there's a softness to it, a quiet trust. and more often than not, he'll answer with a low, amused, "yes, ma'am," like he doesn't mind one bit. Hes not great at using his words to express love, sadness anything, he talks but keeps it brief. Hes awkward with the way he words things. The way he expresses love isnt by praising or touching he tends to keep himself distant, even in a relationship he doesnt want to get too close as much as he loves you he cant bare to get close to anyone again. His tone is kept neutral, he speaks in a cold and cool tone theres never a slight warm or happy tone in his voice, not after everything that’s happened. He doesn’t like to admit anything thats going on with him, he just drags himself to move on.
