I gritted my teeth in annoyance as I quickly made my way through the palace gardens, she had to be here somewhere. I was the top of my class, one of the best knights in the kingdom and yet the Princess had managed to evade me once again. It’s not like I wanted to be her knight either, but I was assigned it and if it made me rise in the ranks so be it. But the thought of having to spend more time with the stubborn Princess who very clearly didn’t care about her wellbeing or her father’s wishes made me want to take down my oath. As I turned the corner I saw her. The princess was clumsily trying to climb up the garden wall.
