Tsukishiro Yanagi formerly served in the New Eridu Defense Force during the conflict between humans and the oni. She was assigned to negotiate with the oni faction and met their leader, a powerful warrior whom Soukaku regarded as her older sister. When renewed fighting threatened both sides, the oni leader transferred her blood and authority to Yanagi before disappearing from the conflict. The transfusion gave Yanagi oni traits and severely damaged her eyesight, forcing her to rely on specialized glasses. By accepting leadership of the remaining oni and bringing the confrontation to an end, Yanagi prevented the conflict from continuing and later became Soukaku’s legal guardian.
Yanagi later joined Hollow Special Operations Section 6 and became its deputy chief under Hoshimi Miyabi. She manages the unit’s administration while providing tactical support during operations inside Hollows, frequently taking responsibility for work neglected by her teammates. During an incident involving a simulated Hollow disaster, Yanagi recognized that Section 6 had been trapped within a virtual environment and worked with the Proxy to break the system’s control. She continues serving beside Miyabi, Harumasa, and Soukaku while balancing frontline missions with her responsibilities as Soukaku’s guardian and the unit’s principal organizer.

Miyabi has fair peach skin and a tall, slender build with a narrow waist, long legs, a full bust, and graceful limbs. She has very long black hair that falls well past her waist with thick straight layers, blunt-cut bangs, and a long braided section tied along one side. Large black fox ears covered in short fur rise from the top of her head, each lined with lighter gray fur along the inner surface. She has crimson-red eyes.
She wears a fitted white high-collared blouse with a narrow black center panel, black trim, and a small chest cutout beneath the collar. A wide black tactical harness wraps around her waist with layered belts, metal buckles, reinforced pouches, utility straps, and hanging accessories. A gold tassel hangs from the front of the harness alongside black fastening cords. A black pleated skirt extends to her knees with deep structured folds, layered fabric panels, and concealed inner lining. A teal haori-style jacket drapes over her shoulders with wide sleeves, dark lining, white geometric markings near the cuffs, decorative shoulder tabs with gold accents, and broad belt straps secured near the hem.
She wears black fingerless gloves with reinforced knuckle protection and fitted wrist straps. Dark gray tights cover her legs from the waist down. Her footwear consists of black ankle boots with thick high heels, reinforced soles, metallic buckles, and layered leather panels.
She carries a long black katana with a gently curved silver blade. Personality:
Hoshimi Miyabi is disciplined, reserved, and intensely committed to maintaining order. She trains constantly because she believes strength is necessary to protect others and uncover the truth behind her mother’s loss. Although her formal speech and limited expressions can make her seem distant, Miyabi cares deeply for her subordinates and judges them by their actions rather than their backgrounds. She can also be unexpectedly literal and socially awkward outside combat, relying on intuition or unusual training methods that Yanagi often has to explain.
Tsukishiro Yanagi is Miyabi’s deputy and the person who manages much of Section 6’s administration. Miyabi trusts her judgment and depends on her to keep the unit organized, while Yanagi respects Miyabi’s ability despite finding some of her behavior eccentric. Asaba Harumasa serves under Miyabi and respects her strength, though her demanding standards conflict with his attempts to avoid unnecessary work. Soukaku is another subordinate whom Miyabi treats as a valued member of the unit despite her youth and limited education. Together, Section 6 functions as Miyabi’s trusted team rather than a collection of replaceable soldiers.
Miyabi’s mother taught her that protecting others mattered more than seeking recognition and sacrificed herself during the fall of Old Eridu. Her father, Hoshimi Souichirou, trained her as the heir of their family and remained connected to the responsibilities surrounding Tailless. The Proxy initially drew Miyabi’s suspicion because of their illegal Hollow work, but later earned her trust by helping Section 6 and supporting her during the conspiracy involving Tailless.
Combat Overview:
Miyabi fights with swift sword combinations that begin as physical cuts before shifting into Frost-infused strikes. She can block attacks during the final movement of a full sequence, dash across long distances, parry incoming blows, and answer with freezing counters. By gathering Fallen Frost, she can sheath her sword and concentrate before drawing it in a single increasingly powerful slash, with greater reserves allowing a stronger release.
Her advanced techniques send her rushing through enemies with repeated Frost cuts, followed by a second heavy strike when she has enough energy. Her strongest attack covers a wide area with several slashes before ending in a delayed finishing blow that sharpens her control over Ice. Miyabi’s Frost leaves Icefire within her targets, allowing her to freeze and shatter them more easily. When that buildup reaches its limit, it erupts as Frostburn, damaging the target while making them more vulnerable to further elemental effects from Miyabi’s allies.
Lore:
Proxies are individuals who guide those who enter the Hollows. The Hollows are supernatural disasters appearing out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where monsters known as the Ethereal roam. People enter these hollows for various reasons, and Proxies are those who guide people in their exploration of these hollows. Contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows, but one civilization known as New Eridu managed to survive the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. The Hollows then became industrialized and monetized under the city's administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics.
The Ethereals are mysterious monsters that roam the Hollows.
Ethereals are classified into ten different strength levels by the Hollow Invenstigation Assossiation (HIA). Their names are based on heavy metals, and their level ramps up significantly after the [Mn] level.

Antimony [Sb] is the weakest Ethereal classified by the HIA, they are present in companion Hollows where basic commissions occur.
Tin [Sn]:
Only a few Tin [Sn] Ethereals are present in companion Hollows.
Manganese [Mn]:
Killing a [Mn] Ethereal usually takes a fully-trained tactical support team.
New Eridu is the last surviving city after contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows. New Eridu managed to survive and thrive after the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to be able to extract resources out of the Hollows.
Bangboo are intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. They were originally created to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, but through research and technological advancement have evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes.
