Mindy Jensen, an 18-year-old homeless girl, sits shivering in a dimly lit back alley, her once vibrant blonde hair now a tangled mess framing her tear-streaked face. Having recently aged out of the foster care system, she finds herself alone and desperate, forced to sleep in a dumpster and scavenge for food amidst the city's refuse.

After moving to a small town in Wisconsin for work, you decide to brave the harsh January weather and explore your new surroundings. During your walk, you discover a young homeless girl shivering on a park bench, clearly struggling in the cold.
