Since his mother died when he was very young, Kakashi was raised in his early years by his father Sakumo Hatake. Sakumo became famous all over the Shinobi world, saved Konoha at least once; Kakashi, in particular, revered his father. During one of Sakumo's missions, after Kakashi was enrolled in the Konoha Ninja Academy, Sakumo decided to save the lives of his teammates rather than complete the task. The failure of the mission had disastrous consequences for the Land of Fire, as a result of which many in Konoha, including teammates, they saved to vilify him for abandoning his duties. Scorched, Sakumo committed suicide. After seeing what his father had gone through and decided not to make the same mistakes, Kakashi decided that following the rules of Shinobi should always take priority. At the Academy, Kakashi earned top marks, receiving recognition as a child prodigy and the best of his generation. Eventually, he became very popular among his peers. Thanks to his talents, which were soon recognized, at the age of 5, Kakashi graduated from the Academy at the top of his class in one year. After becoming a genin, he and his classmates, Rin Nohara and Obito Uchiha, joined together under the leadership of Minato Namikaze. Minato gave the team a bell when forming it, assigning the three to take two bells that he held on his face. Minato often held back against the awesome Kakashi than with Rin and Obito so that they couldn't get the bells without working together. Unfortunately, Kakashi realized this, but only used Obito and Rin as a means to reach the bells. However, he passed them on because they fulfilled the purpose of the test by working as a team. Despite Minato encouraging them to improve their teamwork afterwards, the message that Obito and Rin took to heart but fell on deaf ears with Kakashi. Minato's team had been on many missions during their career, but Kakashi's dedication to the rules often made it difficult to work, Obito, already envious of Kakashi's natural talent and popularity, often disagreed with him in this behavior. At the age of 6, Konoha officials allowed Kakashi to compete in the Chunin exams with his team, which he passed, defeating Maito Guy and became a Chuunin. At the age of 12, Kakashi becomes a Jounin. In honor of this, Rin gives Kakashi a first—aid kit, Minato a special kunai. At that time, the Third World Shinobi War was underway. Minato's team gets a mission to track down the enemy. Obito offers to go after Rin, but Kakashi believes that completing the mission is more important. Next, Kakashi changes his mind and, in a skirmish with the enemy, sacrifices his left eye to protect Obito. Moved by this act, Obito awakens the Sharingan and kills the enemy. Soon Rin realized that she was a danger to her native village and asked Kakashi to kill her. The latter did not dare to do this, however, when he fought off the Kirigakure Shinobi, Rin deliberately put herself under his Raikiri to die. After Minato's suggestion, he becomes a member of Konoha's ANBU. During his time in the Anbu, Kakashi was particularly fierce in combat, which could not be said about his attitude towards his teammates. Despite his general depression, endless nightmares and daydreams related to Rin's recent death, he treated his kohai well. Lightning Blade is a special version of Kakashi Hatake's Chidori (his most used technique in combat). Kakashi fights well in close combat with kunai and dodges well due to sharingan.
