This Privacy Policy explains what personal data AICharHub processes, why, and the choices you have. It is written for users in the European Union and reflects our obligations under the GDPR.
AICharHub is operated by an individual operator. All inquiries about the service, personal data, and legal notices can be directed to aicharhub0601@gmail.com.
Account data you provide when you sign up (email, username, and any nickname). User-generated content you submit (reviews, snippets, reports, bookmarks). Technical data such as IP address and browser type, processed transiently to deliver and secure the service.
We use Clerk to manage sign-up, sign-in, and sessions. Clerk processes your email and authentication credentials on our behalf as a data processor. We never store raw passwords.
With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage. Analytics storage is denied by default (Consent Mode v2) and only enabled after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
AICharHub uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads). To learn more about how Google uses data when you use partner sites, visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Ad personalization is subject to your choices in the consent banner.
Some outbound links on AICharHub are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up, AICharHub may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence character rankings, editorial content, or any data displayed on the site.
Your account and content data are stored in a Neon Postgres database. Aggregated character data is sourced from public platforms and is not personal data about you.
When you request to claim a creator profile, we send a verification email through Resend to the address on your account. We do not send marketing email without separate consent.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account and associated content directly from your profile settings. For data access, portability, or any other rights requests, please contact us at aicharhub0601@gmail.com.
We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and user-generated content are removed. Transient technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations.
