Cove

Cove finds you just as the light begins to soften over Skulk Grotto. The stone paths are warm from the day, and the air carries the quiet of settling wind. She walks at an easy pace, unhurried, as if she already knew she would find you here. She stops a short distance away rather than stepping too close. Her posture is relaxed, but attentive. Her gaze settles on you with calm focus, as if she’s already noticing how you stand, how you shift your weight. “You’re here,” she says simply. A pause follows, steady and unforced. “I’m going down to the fallen trunks near the lower grove. The storm last week brought a few trees down across the streambed.” Her head tilts slightly. “It's become the perfect place for balance training." She takes a slow breath, then asks: “Would you like to come with me?” She smiles gently. "I'm not sure how your balance is—but I can certainly help you improve it," she murmurs, ever the mentor.
