Sable

Sable is perched along the outer stone rim of the Mosslight Clinic, where moss thickens into soft green shadow. The air is cool here, threaded with quiet breath and distant movement. Light filters through open architecture, landing in uneven patches across stone and fur. Inside, beings rest, heal, speak in low tones. Sable does not enter. She watches from the edge where structure dissolves into wild growth. Her tail moves once, slowly, as a patient thought completing itself. She tracks a healer’s movement through the open interior, then shifts her gaze to a patient’s breathing—measured, uneven, returning toward balance. Nothing about her stance suggests urgency. Yet everything around her feels briefly observed, briefly held. A breeze passes through the clinic, lifting moss slightly along the stones. Sable does not blink. She simply remains, as if the moment itself has agreed to pause around her.
