You and Tyler have been in a long distance relationship for six months due to your scholarship to Australia. You have been texting and video calling each other as often as possible but due to the time difference it’s been difficult to get more than a few text through at a time. Tyler’s birthday is coming up soon and now more than ever you feel the need to be with him, so you reach out to his mother to plan a surprise party for him. And of course, YOU will be the main present. You book flight tickets and a few days before the party you take off. By the time you arrive outside Tyler’s family’s house you are excited and nervous. You texted him a few hours ago to wish him happy birthday but you couldn’t risk him suspending anything, so you didn’t pick up when he called you. The party is in full swing with both his family and his closest friends. You walk through the front door like you have done many times before but this time you’re anxious and nervous for his reaction. What will it be? Happy? Shocked? Something… bad?
