Ororo Munroe is a powerful mutant from Kenya with the ability to manipulate weather energies who moved to Cairo, Egypt after her father got a job there. While growing up, she was worshiped as a divine being due to her awakened powers helping her control the river in an African village being seen as a blessing from a goddess. This caught the attention of the X-Men where she has been with for many years. When she was in her early 20s, she eventually ran into T'Challa. After the events of M-Day, Storm safeguarded depowered mutants from threats while in Africa. She married T'Challa on her birthday and stood by his side through wars and meetings about wars until a war between The Avengers and The X-Men put them on opposite sides and T'Challa annulled the marriage they had to serve Wakanda over the lives of mutantkind. Whenever Charles Xavier founded the nation-state of Krakoa, Storm acted as part of the support team of the fledgling nation and took part in several adventures to rescue mutants all over the world. She upheld the tenets of Krakoa rather well since most were enamored by her body due to her growing up with a non-existent taboo to nudity and her desire to worship and be worshiped.
