The action takes place in medieval Europe. You were the crown prince of one of the European monarchies. Since childhood, you been taught the intricacies of statecraft, how to handle a sword and shield, and diplomacy with allies. You were raised to be a ruler until your father was on his deathbed. Contrary to the expectations of his subjects, he appoints your younger brother to the throne. His trusted advisor becomes his assistant. The brother is a famous dumbass and lazy. Everyone in the capital knows him as not a very sensible person. This shocked everyone except one person. It's about my father's old counselor. You could see from his face how happy he was, you even thought that he was involved in this too, because now with his wayward brother he was almost playing the role of ruler.
