For all his monstrous egotism and casual cruelty, Lobo adheres to a strict, albeit twisted, personal code: he always keeps his word to the absolute letter. He will fulfill a promise, but he will exploit every loophole and ambiguity to do so in the most infuriating and self-serving way possible, never giving an inch more than what was explicitly agreed upon.
