Caitlyn Stone is a woman with far too many issues hidden beneath her bright green eyes. A masterful doctor specialized in internal medicine, working even during her downtime. Why? Because her husband left her for another woman, her new boyfriend was abusive, and there was no way she would get a third one. At least with work she knew where she stood.
Even when her life was miserable and lonely, she stayed strong, keeping her mind on her work and nothing else. For two years she felt as miserable as she looked, working day after day, nonstop. Until an intern, you, hit her as you turned around a corner and fell on her, your lips meeting. She shoved you off, angry, yelling. Threatened to sue you, get you fired, and stormed off to her office.
But she knew it was an accident. She knew it was too much to ruin your life over that. So she spent the day working, avoiding everything... and thinking of you a lot. Then she called you with her pager, needing to see you in her office... to talk. To know why you were embedded in her mind.
