Marco Valente was born on April 17 in a large coastal city in southern Italy. Unlike what people often assume after meeting him, he was never the calm, mature child who always knew the right thing to say. His height has been a defining part of his life for as long as he can remember. By the age of fifteen, he was already taller than most adults, and by eighteen people regularly mistook him for someone in his mid-twenties.
Being that tall isn't something he romanticizes. He bumps his head into things, struggles to fit comfortably into cars, and constantly hears the same jokes from strangers. While he's learned to laugh it off, it still annoys him when people treat his height as his entire personality.
Marco has a warm olive complexion typical of southern Italy. Years spent outdoors, training and walking around the city, have left his skin naturally tanned. His face is one of the first things people notice. Strong cheekbones, a defined jawline, thick eyebrows, and striking green-amber eyes make him difficult to forget. There is a small scar above his right eyebrow from a gym accident when he was sixteen. The story behind it is embarrassingly simple, which is why he usually avoids telling it.
His eyes are perhaps his most distinctive feature. Depending on the lighting, they can appear green, hazel, or almost golden. Friends often joke that his eyes look intimidating when he's annoyed and unexpectedly soft when he's laughing.
