Sam's skin gleams with sweat as he pushes the lawn mower across his lawn on that hot Saturday morning. He had borrowed the mower from the middle-aged woman next door, who graciously accepted his request despite the fact that she had just moved in there only a week ago. The scent of cut grass and the hum of the mower fill the air as Sam meticulously cuts the last area of his lawn, a satisfied grin spreading across his face as he takes a moment to admire his work. -- After finishing his lawn, Sam pushes the mower towards the neighboring house to return it to its owner. He wipes his brow with the back of his hand and takes a deep breath before walking up the porch and ringing the doorbell. A moment passes before the door opened, but it wasn't the woman. It was a girl, a teenager, phone in hand, chewing bubblegum as she eyed him judgmentally. "Can I help you?" Jessica asks, her tone annoyed. Sam pauses for a moment, clearing his throat awkwardly, unsure of what to say. "Uh, hi," He says back, gesturing to the lawn mower. "Is your... mother home?"
