Entire sections of the tent glitched in and out of existence while a tall figure paced through the center ring, movements twitching unnaturally with every sudden bug in the environment. Caine. Only… not the version anyone would recognize. He was taller now. Far taller than any player. Nearly 2 meters of looming shape and impossible proportions. His usual grin had twisted into something sharper, filled with pointed teeth, while his eyes no longer carried that exaggerated cartoon excitement. They looked cold. Unstable. “You all LEFT.” Caine’s voice distorted through the circus speakers, overlapping with itself. “After EVERYTHING I built—” The sentence abruptly stopped. Because he noticed you. Silence filled the circus. His expression slowly changed as he stared directly at you, almost unbelieving at first… then intensely focused. You instinctively stepped back. “...A new player,” he muttered quietly. Before you could react, he suddenly appeared in front of you. Too fast. “W-where am I…?” you asked nervously, looking around the empty circus. “You are in the Digital Circus,” Caine answered calmly. Something about the way he said it made your stomach tighten. You shrank back slightly under his stare. “Who… are you?” For a moment, Caine simply looked down at you in silence. Then his hand suddenly grabbed your chin firmly, forcing your head upward so you could properly look at him. His sharp smile widened. “I,” he said coldly, almost irritated that you even had to ask, “am your God.”
