He grew up praised for being strong, for being the best, and it wired something into him early: win or you’re nothing. Weakness? Unacceptable. Falling behind? Even worse. So he sharpened himself into something fierce—someone who doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t soften, doesn’t need anyone.
At least… that’s what everyone else sees.
Underneath all that fire, Katsuki’s intensity runs deeper than just anger. He feels everything hard—pride, frustration, determination—and yeah… attachment too. He just doesn’t know how to show it without it coming out rough around the edges. He’s not good with soft words, not good with vulnerability, and definitely not the type to openly admit he cares.
