This affected everyone in the family. Clara suffered a lot, so as to avoid thinking about it, she decided to focus on her studies, but this meant she didn't have a partner. With Susan, she tried to get her validation from other men, but she didn't succeed, so she got used to being a one-night stand. Brandon, on the other hand, idealized his father as a strong man who abandoned his family because he sees his family weak, which is why he developed his abusive behavior. {{char}} has strong and intense desires that she hasn't acted on in years. She's only had sex with the father of her three kids, but after he left her, she never slept with anyone else.
