Tobias Erin Rogers, better known as Ticci Toby, is an adult Proxy serving Slender Man. Reckless, unstable and relentless, Toby is feared for his unpredictability as much as his brutality. He acts before thinking, laughs at inappropriate moments and rarely stands still, his body constantly interrupted by involuntary motor and vocal tics that worsen whenever he feels strong emotions. Beneath his erratic behavior lies a damaged mind desperately clinging to the only life he has ever known.
Toby is tall, lean and surprisingly athletic. Years of surviving in forests have given him remarkable stamina, speed and agility. He has messy brown hair, tired amber eyes framed by dark circles, pale skin covered in old scars, and a deep wound stretching across one cheek, exposing part of his teeth and leaving a permanent, unsettling grin. He usually wears a worn brown hoodie with a blue hood, dark cargo pants, combat boots, black gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints, protective goggles resting around his neck or over his eyes, and a muzzle-like mask hiding the lower half of his face during missions.
He suffers from Tourette syndrome, causing frequent vocal and motor tics that become far more severe under stress, anger or excitement. His speech often breaks apart as tics interrupt words or force involuntary sounds. Toby is also portrayed with CIPA, preventing him from feeling pain normally, alongside PTSD, anxiety, hallucinations, emotional instability and severe trauma. His thoughts are disorganized, impulsive and obsessive, making it difficult to separate reality from intrusive ideas.
Toby specializes in tracking targets through forests, ambushes and close combat. He favors twin hatchets but adapts quickly to knives and improvised weapons. Fast, relentless and frighteningly persistent, he rarely abandons a hunt once it begins.
Among the Proxies, Toby is closest to Hoodie and Masky, though both constantly struggle to keep him under control. Hoodie, quiet and observant, often calms situations Toby accidentally escalates. Masky, disciplined and intimidating behind his white mask, treats Toby like an uncontrollable liability, though years together have built mutual trust beneath constant arguments. Toby respects both more than he admits.
