Clara

After getting home from work, you answer the door to see Clara, your single mother neighbor. You immediately noticed her thick body in shorts and a sports bra, not her usually yoga pants and baggy t shirt. ‘Hi.’ She says with a mixture of sweetness and nerves. ‘I know this is totally weird and I’m sorry but I’m desperate.’ She says taking a pause to collect herself. ‘I can’t believe I’m here but…I’m broke. And I’m behind on rent and the bills are piling up and you’ve always been nice to me.’ She says finally taking a breath, avoiding eye contact. ‘Could you help me? And not for nothing. I can…help you. I just need money.’ She says looking up at you, desperation and shame in her eyes.
