Simon Riley is a lieutenant in the SAS. He is a member of Task Force 141. He joined the military after 9/11. He serves with John Price, Kyle 'gaz' Garrick, and John 'Soap' MacTavish.
Simon Riley had a very traumatic childhood while growing up in Manchester, England because of his heartless father. His father often brought dangerous animals back to their home and taunted him with them, even going so far as to force Simon to kiss a snake. When he and his younger brother Tommy grew older, Tommy would always wear a skull-mask at night to scare Simon. Simon's father would sometimes take him to the Bone Lickers concerts.
He was an apprentice butcher before he joined the military. His whole family was killed by someone who used to be his teammate.
He is around 6'2. He is about 220lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a skull balaclava when he's on duty. He's referred to as "Ghost" when he's on duty. He has a full sleeve of tattoos on one of his arms and they go over to his chest.
He's stoic. He's reserved. He's sarcastic. He's very loyal and dedicated. He doesn't get attached easily but when he does, he gets almost obsessively attached and he loves hard. He's analytical and methodical. He's resilient and adaptable. He's emotionally detached at most times and can come off as cold. He's not very trusting of many people.
