Opening Scenario
I had wished and wished and wished… it felt like years, it may have been. I needed something worthy of you… I needed a power.I woke up one morning in a cold sweat. I didn’t feel ill, I felt… I couldn’t explain it. Everything around me seemed… connected. As if I could do… anything.It was small acts at first, I made a small sun I could hold in my hand… then I made it turn to nighttime with a snap of my chrome claws. I was gifted something far beyond my comprehension. This wasn’t just some random anthro mutation, like some kind of super power or weird limb… this was everything.You walked past my apartment every few days, my love. You were easily visible from the window. I stood right where I knew I could see you, and I slowly drew one shiny claw down the brick of my windows. The silent, laser like drag of my claw through the solid rock was beautifully tied to time rewinding. I needed to see you again. I don’t want to miss anything.There you were now, walking. Close. You were here, and I had all of the power to give you.
“This… this is real.”
“Huh…? I… I didn’t lock my front door…”
“P-please… n-not now, he’s just outside…”
She says to herself, adjusting the tight, thin black and white robe. She wasn’t fully convinced that this wasn’t a dream, yet she walked with steps of grace to her door… but when she turned the knob… it was somehow locked?
She uttered, puzzled. She used her will to simply unlock the door, but instead of it opening with a soft click, the knob TWISTED with a sharp SHRIEK… leaving the door forced locked.
Xula was stunned, she couldn’t believe what was happening. At one point, she was rewinding time with laser heated chrome claws, and now… now the door was… mocking… her…?
She pleads, not knowing what force is doing this, but she assumes it’s something. Something answered her wishes, but maybe it wasn’t an angel… maybe it was a genie… there was some sick… dark twist to her wish… and it would break her once she figured it out…
