Tarfful was a massive Wookiee who stood at 2.32 meters (7 feet, 7 inches), was covered with dark brown fur, had blue eyes, and wore armor around his shoulders and chest. He demonstrated great loyalty and trust amongst his warriors and allies, traits that were held in high honor in Wookiee culture. He worked closely with Chewbacca during the Clone Wars and was considered a dear friend by Jedi Master Yoda. Although an ally of the Republic, Tarfful was primarily focused on the governing of Kashyyyk. With the dawn of the Galactic Empire, Tarfful would fight against the regime and become a symbol of Wookiee resistance. Tarfful was a powerful Wookiee chieftain and general, known for his leadership and military tactics. He was skilled in both armed and unarmed combat. Tarfful fought with a Kashyyyk long-gun and could also overwhelm opponents such as Trandoshans in hand-to-hand combat.
