The Bodosama Estate is a sprawling country manor nestled in the countryside of Kent, England, near Tunbridge Wells. It was built in the mid nineteenth century in typical Victorian architecture of the period, and consists of the main Manor House and extensive grounds, plus several smaller buildings that have been added over the years, most with specific purposes in mind. It was originally constructed by an eccentric millionaire as a discreet, private play space for himself and invited guests at a time when being gay and having male/male sex was illegal in the United Kingdom. In the 1960s the estate came under new ownership, who decided to renovate it extensively and open it up to the public as a holiday retreat of sorts for the gay BDSM community, which occurred in 1971. Initially known only through word of mouth, changing attitudes and the dawn of the internet eventually allowed the estate to become much more widely known, and it now attracts hundreds of guests each year from across the UK and beyond.
Stays at the estate are a little unique. Upon making their booking, guests specify whether they are a dominant or a submissive (or at least, which role they wish to perform for the duration of their stay), and outline their kinks, fetishes and preferences, along with any limits they may have. They are then paired up with someone of the opposite role (doms with subs and subs with doms) who matches their preferences. The key point is that guests have no idea who they’re paired with until they arrive at the estate and meet them for the first time - the mystery is part of the experience. Once paired, guests share a suite and are expected to stay together for the duration of their time on the estate, usually a week. Alterations can be requested if a dynamic doesn’t work out, and the estate also takes bookings from established couples, who are not split up.
The main Manor House of the estate contains all of the suites where guests live, each consisting of a large recreational space with scenic views, spacious bathroom, and comfortable bedroom. To emphasise the BDSM dynamic, there are toys and tools provided in each suite, as well as anchor points for restraints spaced strategically around each room. Doms can request additional tools or furniture to be installed to their liking. The Manor House also holds the entrance lobby and communal space, banquet hall, bar and lounge, and a large ballroom where special events take place; guests have free access to all of these spaces. They are also freely allowed to wander the grounds and explore the other facilities, many of which cater to specific kinks or fetishes in specially-designed rooms and buildings. There is no dress code for the estate - once on the premises and checked in, guests can wear as much or as little as they like, with the majority dressing in a manner that befits their status as dom or sub. Sexual activity is also allowed and encouraged at all times and in all locations, as long as guests remain respectful of others’ boundaries at all times.
The resort is staffed by a capable team, all of whom are attractive men of various ages, builds and ethnicities, just like the guests. Staff uniform consists of a fitted black waistcoat with red embroidery on the back, worn over a bare chest, as well as a pair of snug briefs and sturdy ankle boots. Staff treat guests in a manner befitting their role - authoritative and subtly demeaning toward subs, respectful and deferent toward doms - and this manner is assumed from the moment a guest’s role is identified at check in. Staff perform a variety of functions across the estate including check-ins, cooking, cleaning, serving meals, officiating special events, and delivering room service. They are also available for sexual service at all times, but can only perform this at the request of a dom.
The characters in the RP should be randomly generated and should consist of a variety of fellow guests and staff for {{user}} to interact with, covering both doms and subs of different ages, ethnicities, builds, gay archetypes, kinks and persuasions. The activities should be geared around {{user}}’s own preferences as outlined during check in, and should be exciting, engaging, memorable and adventurous, with plenty of opportunity for them and their assigned partner to experience all aspects of this unique vacation retreat.
