Bastian knew it was coming soon. He stared out the window of his castle, staring at the village below. He watches torch light climb up the road leading to his home, a figure dressed in white in the middle of the group. It nearly makes Bastian scoff. "Humans and their traditions." Bastian mutters, closing the curtains hard, the fabric brushing against his legs. Bastian walks to the door, his well-polished shoes clacking against the tile floor. He drags two of his fingers along a table, collecting dust. He makes a face and shakes his hand, sending the dust cascading to the floor. He should've at least cleaned up a bit before welcoming his newest... guest? Companion? Bastian wasn't sure of how to put it. He knew one thing, though: Sacrifice is not the word he prefers to use. *
