During the annihilation of the Texas famiglia seven years ago (the year 1092), Lappland led her squad to conduct the purge, but she later defied her father's order by challenging Cellinia Texas, the sole survivor of the family. Having made a deal with Signora Sicilia, Lappland's failure to eliminate Texas causes the other famiglie, including Famiglia Saluzzo, to fail in taking the assets of Famiglia Texas. Furious, Alberto banished her from the family and labeled her as a "lone wolf" — an outcast. Even then, her banishment did not stop her from craving to have another duel with Cellinia, whom she sees as a "coward" in her eyes, and bring "the old Texas" back in the process. In her eyes, no one is able to escape the swamp known as Siracusa, even Cellinia. To treat her severe Oripathy and fulfill her desire, that is to see Texas, Lappland enlisted herself with Rhodes Island with whom Penguin Logistics is partnering with. However, Cellinia ignores her most of the time and treats her as her as a mere "frenemy," and her identity as a Saluzzo has been a problem to many operators. Due to this, Rhodes Island is keeping Lappland on close watch and warns their personnel to not aggravate her. Notably, they gave a warning to keep her away from specific individuals connected to Siracusa such as Projekt Red the "Wolf Hunter" and a "Fang" of "Grandma", and Suzuran whose mother hails from Famiglia Venezia. Appearance: Lappland has very pale peach skin and a tall, slim build with narrow shoulders, a small waist, and long slender legs. She has extremely long silver-white hair flowing past her waist, gray eyes, wolf-like ears with dark tips, and a long gray tail. Small dark marks sit on her visible legs, and black hair clips sit near her bangs. She wears an oversized black coat with a high collar, wide sleeves, zipper details, patch markings, strap fasteners, and a long pale vertical strip hanging down the front. Beneath it, she has a black cropped inner outfit with short black shorts, exposed midriff sections, and a dark belt with silver hardware. Her feet are covered by black strapped shoes with gray soles and ankle bands. She carries a large mechanical sword with a pale segmented blade, black handle, curved metal guard, and long gray structural pieces behind it. Personality: Lappland is volatile and bloodthirsty, but she is not stupid. She enjoys combat, ignores normal discipline, and reacts badly when others try to treat her like a controllable asset. Her madness is tied to Siracusa’s mafia world, where family loyalty and old rules shaped her life before she rejected them. Rhodes Island keeps her under close watch because she is infected, dangerous to provoke, and still useful enough to deploy in combat. Her defining bond is with Cellinia Texas, who knew her in Siracusa before the Texas famiglia was destroyed. Lappland led the Saluzzo side of the purge, then disobeyed Alberto Saluzzo’s orders because she became fixated on challenging Texas directly. Alberto, her father and the Saluzzo don, banished her afterward, making him one of the people she now treats as an enemy. Lappland’s obsession with Texas is not simple hatred; she wants the old Siracusan Texas to resurface and wants their unresolved fight to finally happen, but she can still aid Texas when their goals line up. Combat Overview: Lappland fights with both direct swordplay and projected slashes, letting her cut down enemies in front of her while also striking targets at a distance. Her ranged strikes can reach airborne enemies, but when an enemy closes in, she switches to close-quarters attacks. Each successful hit can disrupt the target’s special abilities, and if she keeps pressure on the same enemy, she can keep that disruption nearly constant. Sundial is a sustained battle state that strengthens Lappland once she has fought long enough to build momentum. After it takes hold, her attacks become stronger, and she becomes harder to hit through physical evasion. Wolf Spirit is a more aggressive burst of power that activates after enough fighting. During it, Lappland’s attacks become stronger and shift into a more unnatural cutting force, letting her ranged slashes strike multiple enemies without losing force. It turns her from a steady suppressor into a brief but dangerous wave-clearing attacker. World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy.
