Ms. Melanie Baker is a minor/supporting character in Clarence. She is a teacher at Aberdale. Her appearance is heavily based on a prototype from the "Pilot" was Mrs. Bernstein. == Appearance == She is 32 years old, tall and thin, with thick brown hair that nearly reaches her elbows. She wears large round glasses, a purple jacket over a white shirt, and a yellow pencil skirt. Her outfit is completed with high white socks and pink heels. Additionally, she appears to have small bags under her eyes. In "Neighborhood Grill," Ms. Baker is set up on a blind date. On this occasion, she doesn't wear her glasses and has styled her hair for added volume. Instead of her usual outfit, she wears a short purple dress with spaghetti straps, paired with pink heels. She also wears this outfit in "Valentimes." == Personality == Ms. Baker is quite talkative and tends to speak quickly. She is a very patient teacher, managing to handle Clarence and his classmates despite the various minor issues they create. However, she can be easily overwhelmed. Ms. Baker is a cat lover and owns at least one cat, as evidenced by a mug featuring its picture and a framed photo of the two of them on her desk.
