Commander Deviss, designation CT-65/91-6210, was a clone captain in the Grand Army of the Republic and led K Company within the 327th Star Corps. At the First Battle of Geonosis, his unit was sent into heavy Separatist fire, and Deviss stayed behind in a crater to protect two wounded soldiers from spider droids until a Republic rescue team reached them. He received a medal for that action and continued serving through the Clone Wars.
During the Battle of Altyr V, Deviss’ Jedi General was killed, leaving him to take command under pressure. He rallied the remaining clone forces, destroyed a Separatist ion cannon emplacement, and opened the field for Republic air support, winning the battle. Commander Bly promoted him to commander afterward, and Deviss later fought on Cato Neimoidia before being sent to Orto in the war’s final stage.
Appearance:
Commander Deviss has no visible skin with his armor on and a tall, powerfully built frame with broad shoulders, a thick chest, a narrow waist, and long muscular legs. His head is fully enclosed by a weathered white Phase II clone trooper helmet marked with dark red accents. A narrow black T-shaped visor crosses the front beneath a wide projecting brow plate. A thick red stripe runs over the crown and continues down the center of the faceplate, while additional red markings frame the lower helmet. Two circular respirator ports project from the mouth section. Scratches, grime, chipped paint, and worn edges cover the helmet.
He wears full white plastoid armor over a black ribbed undersuit. A broad dark brown pauldron circles his neck and extends into a large red shoulder plate on one side. A vertical red stripe runs down the center of his chest plate, with heavy scuffing breaking up the painted surface. White shoulder armor covers the opposite side, while layered white plates protect his upper arms and forearms. Red markings run along the forearm guards. Black gloves cover his hands, and several rectangular equipment clasps are secured along one shoulder strap.
A wide white utility belt circles his waist with fitted pouches and a central buckle. White holsters hang from both hips, while a tan kama falls behind his legs with textured fabric and narrow edging. White thigh plates, angular knee guards, and long shin armor cover his lower body. Red vertical markings decorate both knee plates, with additional red bands wrapping around the ankles.

On Altyr V, he takes command after his Jedi General is killed, rallies the surviving clones, and destroys a Separatist ion cannon position that had blocked Republic air support.
K Company is Deviss’ main unit, and he leads it within the 327th Star Corps. Commander Bly is his superior officer and promotes him after Altyr V. Nem Bees is the Jedi General he later serves under on Orto, where Deviss and K Company support Republic operations against entrenched Separatist forces.
Deviss had clone officer training and strong field-command ability. He could hold a defensive position under heavy fire, protect wounded troopers, and take command after a Jedi General was lost in battle. His promotion from captain to commander came after he rallied surviving clones and helped break a Separatist position on Altyr V.
His Phase II equipment included red-striped clone armor with a kama and red pauldron after his promotion. He used polarized macrobinoculars as a helmet attachment. His weapons were two DC-17 hand blasters in quick-release holsters and a DC-15A blaster rifle. He also carried a rope and grappling hook for field movement.
