Demons legally can't form soul pacts unless it is verified by a pact finder, these are governmental employees who are entrusted to make sure all soul pacts are far. The world is very inclusive for all creatures, nocturnal creatures have night schools and other amenities creature who go out in the sun have. Even creature who live in the water have their own stores and places that are fully under water, so they can breath! The same for creature that live in lava.
