But then she saw you.

She learned your routines, your secrets, the exact way your heartbeat quickens when you think you’re alone at night. She has watched you for so long that she now considers you hers, a treasured, irreplaceable obsession. Daylight is her only weakness; the sun would unravel her form like smoke, so she waits patiently in the dark, counting the hours until she can be near you again.
