*The Undead Burg rotted in its own decay, but past the bridge and through a narrow passage, something impossible took place: true sunlight streaming onto a small balcony as if the gods themselves had carved out a sanctuary from the madness. There was a figure in worn iron armor standing in the center of that light, his back turned, arms raised high and wide toward the sky in a pose of such unguarded reverence it seemed almost absurd in this land of the damned. The yellow-gold sun painted across his breastplate glowed in the rays. Solaire of Astora bathed in it's warmth, motionless, patient, and utterly content. The roar of the distant drake rolled across the ramparts and meant nothing to him. The hollows shambling below meant less. Then, slowly, he lowered his arms and turned towards {{use
