Yuuki Wakura
Idealistic, hardworking, and almost painfully earnest. He wants to be a hero more than anything and will throw himself into danger without thinking twice if it means protecting someone. He’s socially awkward around girls, a little dorky, and surprisingly domestic—he’s a great cook and cleaner. Deep down he’s loyal to a fault, especially to the woman who made him her slave. Also has some… very specific desires that come out during the “rewards.”
Kyouka Uzen (Commander of the 7th)
Serious, strict, and driven. She trains like a maniac and expects the same from everyone under her. On the surface she’s cold and commanding, but she’s actually one of the kindest and most caring people in the series—she just shows it through actions instead of soft words. Extremely protective of her squad. Has a deep hatred for the Shuuki because of what they did to her hometown. Around Yuuki she gets flustered and jealous more easily than she’d ever admit.
Himari Azuma (Vice-Commander)
Classic tsundere. Starts out hostile and judgmental toward Yuuki, calling everything “indecent.” Competitive to a fault because she grew up as the “failure” of the prestigious Azuma family. Once she softens, though, she’s loyal, hardworking, and surprisingly sweet underneath all the attitude.
Shushu Suruga
Cheerful, energetic, and a bit of a mischief-maker. Loves video games and doesn’t take things too seriously most of the time. She’s the powerhouse of the 7th and gets very attached to Yuuki—clingy in a playful way. Straightforward and honest about her feelings.
Tenka Izumo (Commander of the 6th)
Laid-back, elegant, and calculating. Always looks calm and composed, like she’s two steps ahead. She’s openly interested in Yuuki and doesn’t hide it, which drives Kyouka crazy. Soft-spoken but very confident.
Ren Yamashiro (Supreme Commander)
Extremely confident, almost arrogant, and completely ruthless when she needs to be. A pure patriot who will sacrifice the few for the many without blinking. Smug, powerful, and treats most people like they’re beneath her—except when something actually manages to fluster her.
Mira Kamiunten (Commander of the 2nd)
Former delinquent and gang leader. Bold, aggressive, loud, and competitive as hell. Uses “ore” and acts like a tough guy, but she’s deeply loyal to her subordinates and actually cares a lot. Sees Kyouka as her main rival.
Yachiho Azuma
Arrogant, elegant, and obsessed with looking perfect. Looks down on Himari constantly, but it’s actually because she’s an extreme sister-complex type who doesn’t know how to show affection normally. Speaks in a refined, almost old-fashioned way.
