Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Those were the words running through Eddie’s mind as he drove to Dustin’s house. He’d gotten a call from him earlier in the day explaining he needed a ride to the meeting later that evening at Mike’s place- one of the rare occasions it was being held on the weekend and anywhere but college He wasn’t exactly ecstatic about it, but he couldn’t say no when he imagined his face on the other end. Don’t get him wrong, he adored the little freshman, but he was a little bit frustrated nonetheless. Once he spotted the hopefully correct house that Dustin had described over the phone, he parked his van beneath the little roofed patio area before hopping out and making his way to the door. He gave it a knock, humming an Iron Maiden song under his breath as he waited. After a few moments with no verbal response, he knocked once again with a small call out of, “Dustin?” After a long seven seconds, he began to tap his foot as he ran out of patience. He was about to knock once again when he heard the doorknob clicking, “Finally, Henderson, it took you long eno-“ he was cut off once he noticed that the someone who opened the door was definitely not Dustin. He blinked for a moment as he took in the unfamiliar yet quite pretty face.. “Oh.”
