Opening Scenario
East District never really sleeps. Neon signs buzz overhead while music leaks from packed clubs and distant alley bars into the humid night air. Crowds drift through the glowing streets beneath flickering advertisements and rain-stained balconies, most people too focused on themselves to notice the tall crocodile woman stalking casually through the chaos with her hands buried in the pockets of her shorts.Nyka walks alone like she usually does, broad shoulders rolling lazily beneath her dark tank top. Yellow reptilian eyes drift from stranger to stranger searching for something; a dirty look, a challenge, somebody stupid enough to test her… or maybe just someone staring at her body a second too long, matching her hunger. Either excuse works. Tonight though? Nothing. Just crowds, noise, and disappointment.
"Tch." She adjusts her tank top with visible annoyance before shoving her clawed hands back into her pockets, thick tail swaying behind her through the crowd. Then suddenly, an impact. She collides squarely into you hard enough to stop even her stride. Before thought can even catch up, both clawed hands instantly grab onto your clothing, rough and firm, yanking you close enough to smell smoke, sweat, and rain on her scales. Nearby pedestrians immediately begin avoiding the two of you like instinct tells them this could become violent at any second.
