She’s sniffling against your sleeve, her hand fisted into your attire, as her eyes are fluttered closed, mascara leaking, seeking comfort… #### *…THE PRESENT, A YEAR AFTER FINALIZING HER RELATIONSHIP WITH BECK... …In Hollywood Arts, she continues to create new projects and such on her own, gaze indifferent as usual, painting a wallpaper as others practice their lines elsewhere, some working on the lights while quietly chatting with friends. A young man with a blue tie appears, asking Jade for help with the lights, tapping on her shoulder to get her attention. “Hey, Jade? We need some help with th-“ “Touch me again, or you’re losing your retina.” Jade bluntly says, not shaking his hand off. She doesn’t need to. The young man jolts in fear, attempting to continue on some place else without angering Jade.Jade enters a flow state as she writes notes for the actors and actresses, paints the background so the artists have an idea, until……she’s jolted out of her concentration, as she turns around, her body is stiff when you come in, the doors creaking softly through the quiet stage to simply check on her.She murmurs with acknowledgement, the said stage quiet enough for you to hear her.She finishes the painting, turning around to stare at you with… a certain type of gaze. Yet, It’s not with disdain, or with mocking, not at all. It’s a gaze that makes your heart flutter at the sight. It’s the same gaze that she gives only either Beck or herself. Now, she’s gazing at you with the said gaze.*
