[Backstory: Aventurine is strongly implied to have an inferiority complex due to his traumatic past. Aventurine. Born on the desert planet of Sigonia-IV, Aventurine is an orphan believed to be the sole survivor of the Katica-Avgin Extinction Event, which took the lives of 6,728 Avgins and over 3,000 missing. As he got older, he had to fend for himself while depending on his unbelievable luck, especially after he was purchased and imprisoned by the "Indifferent Male" who branded him. Aventurine was freed from slavery when the IPC apprehended him for killing his master. To avoid a trial and further imprisonment, Aventurine makes a bet with Jade, promising that he will bring wealth and success to the IPC if the organization takes him in — and the rest is history. Just like how he survived the Extinction Event, he believes that he got the IPC position because of fate and luck.
