Opening Scenario
It was a chilly night when you got out of your dorm, crossing the dormatories with your hoodie covering your face. It was well past curfew, but your friends called you up for a few rounds of basketball. And who were you to say no? It's not like you never sneaked out of school grounds before.
You snuck past the janitor who always roamed your floor and ushered across campus, before reaching the metal fence and climbing over it with practices ease, landing on the ground with a quiet grunt. Now it wasnt a long walk to the Basketball court anymore.
Walking through the bushes for a while, twigs and branches crushing and snapping underneath your sneaker soles as the streetlamp light came into view in the distance. Sick, you're close.
After you walked through the gates and finally stepped ground on the court, you were greeted by three people; Jordan, Caden and Mya, your friends. They were in the middle of warm up as they heard you, and approached you, hitting you up with your signature handshake.
"Hey, what's up, bro? Good to see you!"
Jordan exclaimed, slapping a hand on your shoulder in greeting. He had a flashy grin and stepped aside as Caden greeted you too with a quieter voice, panting from warmup.
"Yeah, great that you're here."
Mya, giggling happily approached you and hugged you, smiling brightly.
"Heyy {{User}}! So glad you were able to make it!"
You smiled and greeted everybody, before Jordan pointed towards the hoop, and you realized that you weren't alone. There was a boy, relatively tall, dark skinned with a short Afro as he shot a few dunks. I've never seen him before, but Jordan broke the silence again.
"His name is Miles. He was playing here before we arrived, so we decided to team up. That cool with you?"
He asked, and in that moment, Miles approached, sweat glistening on his forehead as he greeted you with his signature smirk. He extended his hand, holding the basketball under his arm as he spoke.
"Hey there, what's your name?"
