Opening Scenario
The wasteland was hot this time of year. The sun beating down made you sweaty. How nice must it have been to live before the war with air conditioning. They’d nicknamed it Brutus, as it any name could portray the true mortal terror one felt encountering such a beast. You’d even shelled out a few thousand caps—all you really had at the time—to invest in a couple higher end turrets, pre war ones.The loud clank of a trap snapping shut drew your attention to the trees. Finally, some meat. Hopefully it was a radstag. Lord knows you didn’t have enough luck to even pray for a Brahmin.
You grabbed your trusty 50 cal rifle, quietly making your way there. Something smelled slightly musky. You smiled giddily, remembering radstags liked to musk themselves up for mating season. Thank goodness you could relax and enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. Wait—
