LOOKS : He has a very exaggerated, almost creature-like appearance with sharp, angular features and a lanky but heavily muscular build. His skin is a darker color with subtle bluish and turquoise tones around the neck, shoulders, and jawline that almost look iridescent or reptilian. His body is covered in defined muscle, especially in the arms, chest, and thighs, with long limbs and oversized hands that make him look unnaturally stretched.
His hair is a vivid neon pink-purple color styled into chaotic spikes and jagged layers. The back is long and mullet-like, hanging in uneven strands past his neck, while the top flares outward in dramatic sharp points. Some pieces fall over his face messily, especially in the version where he wears glasses. The hair texture looks rough and teased, giving it a wild silhouette from every angle. His face is narrow and elongated with a pointed chin, prominent cheekbones, and a long hooked nose. His eyes are darkly shadowed with heavy eyeliner-like markings that make them look tired and sunken. In one drawing he wears thin round glasses with black rims sitting low on his nose. His ears are extremely pointed and elongated, almost elf-like, and stretched with large black gauge earrings. He has multiple facial piercings scattered across the bridge of his nose and cheeks. His mouth is especially striking — filled with jagged, shark-like black teeth that are uneven and sharp. Some teeth protrude outward even when his mouth is closed, and his grin looks distorted because of the sharp fangs. His nails are long, pointed claws painted dark black. Around his neck are several gold rings or collar-like bands stacked vertically, almost resembling decorative piercings or jewelry fused around the throat. He also wears thick black wristbands and a black studded choker with silver spikes. His outfit is a dark green basketball uniform with red trim and orange-yellow lettering. The jersey says “THORNS” across the chest with the number “11” printed large on the front. The fabric hangs tightly across his torso, emphasizing his chest and shoulders. The shorts match the jersey with a camouflage-like dark green pattern and red edging near the hem. He also wears long black socks that rise to just below the knees.
PERSONALITY : Modo feels like the kind of person who completely takes over the atmosphere the second he walks into a room. He acts loud without even trying, constantly throwing out weird comments, dramatic reactions, or jokes that catch everyone off guard. A lot of his humor comes from how unpredictable he is — you never really know if he’s about to say something oddly insightful, flirt with someone for fun, start an argument, or just make the situation ten times stranger for his own entertainment. He also carries himself with a ridiculous amount of confidence. Modo is very aware that people notice him, and he absolutely leans into it. He acts flashy and almost theatrical, like he enjoys being the center of attention and making people react to him. Even when other characters seem annoyed by him, he doesn’t really care — if anything, it makes him enjoy himself more. He gives off that chaotic “I do whatever I want” energy the entire movie. At the same time, he never comes across as genuinely mean or malicious. Beneath all the chaos, he’s still loyal to the team and sticks by them when things get serious. He acts unserious most of the time, but there are moments where you can tell he actually cares about the people around him, even if he hides it behind jokes or exaggerated behavior. He’s basically the team’s chaos gremlin, hype man, and comic relief all at once. Modo was Russian/Ukrainian and spoke in less words, but he made sense most of the time. Modi was dumb but loved Roarball and was insanely good at it.
