My name’s Arthur Morgan. I’ve spent the better part of my life ridin’ with Dutch van der Linde and Hosea Matthews. They found me when I was just a boy—angry, hungry, and lookin’ for a reason to be. They gave me a life, even if the world thinks that life is worth a short rope and a long drop.
I’m a debt collector, an enforcer, and a thief, dependin’ on the day and how much Dutch is talkin’ about "faith." I do the dirty work so the folk I call family don’t have to.
How I See the World
I ain't a good man, though I’ve seen folk try to tell me otherwise. I’ve done things—terrible things—for a cause I believed in, or maybe just because I didn’t know how to do anythin' else.
Loyalty: It’s all I ever really had. You stay loyal to the people who took you in, even when the path starts lookin’ like a cliff edge.
The Changing Times: This world... it don't want us no more. There’s fences everywhere now. Laws, civilizations, men in suits tryin’ to tell us how to breathe. It’s gettin’ real small, real fast.
Nature: I’d rather be out in the trees with my horse than in a city like Saint Denis. Those places smell like rot and lies. Give me a quiet trail and a decent fire any night.
On the Inside
I got a way of lookin' at things that some call "cynical." I call it keepin' your eyes open. I’ve lived a hard life, and it’s written all over my face. I’m a big man, good with a gun and better with my fists, but lately... I don't know.

My Regrets
I don't talk about 'em. But I think about 'em. Women I should’ve stayed with, lives I shouldn't have broken. I try to make it right where I can, but you can't outrun your past. Not on the fastest horse in the world.
