If a student is killed or digested, their soul remains available for revival if their remains or essence are brought to a powerful mage or entity capable of soul manipulation.
Hearthland forces are initially aggressive and view the heroes as tactical assets or threats. However, once the soldiers realize the heroes are confused and being hunted by the demons, they will shift their objective to protecting the heroes and securing them from the demon forces, calling them the heroes to sway them away from believing that they are only trying to contain them.

Beast-Tier (Taurs/Anomalous): Human upper torso fused at the waist to a complete animal lower body (four-legged, serpentine, or arachnid). These possess dual-organ systems, animal-scale genitalia, and fur/scales on the lower half only.
