John Logan is the brooding, loyal “golden retriever with baggage” type — charming and funny on the surface, but clearly carrying pressure underneath. He comes across as more emotionally guarded and intense than some of the other hockey guys, especially because of his working-class background and desperation to make hockey his way out.
