PSA: your greeting matters way more than your 800 word definition and nobody talks about it
hot take maybe but i'm convinced the first message is doing 90% of the work. i kept obsessing over my definition while my greeting was literally 'hi how are you' and wondering why nobody stuck around. rewrote just the opener to actually set a mood and the vibes were instantly better. stop wasting your greeting on small talk, set the tone from the first line. that's the whole post

Iniciar sesiónthe greeting thing is so underrated. i made two versions of the same bot, one with a mood-setting opener and one that jumped straight into action, and the mood one kept me hooked way longer. people decide if they care in the first message
i always write the greeting LAST, after the whole definition is done. by then i actually know how the character talks so the opener comes out sounding like them instead of generic. doing it first never works for me
